RV stays in Ohio
Lake Erie islands, Hocking Hills sandstone, and Amish country backroads.
Search OhioA traveler's overview
Ohio is more varied than its reputation. Hocking Hills in the southeast has slot-canyon-style sandstone gorges. Lake Erie has a working island chain (Put-in-Bay, Kelleys). Amish country in Holmes County is the largest in the world.
CurbNTurf hosts trend rural — Amish country farms, Hocking Hills cabins, lake-shore pads on Erie. Summer and fall are easy; winter is gray.

Roads, food, and seasons in Ohio
Hocking Hills loop in a day: Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave. Add the rim trail at Conkle's Hollow if you have the legs. The Hocking River canopy is at its best mid-October.
Ohio Amish country isn't a theme park. Buy at a roadside stand, eat at a family-style table (Der Dutchman, Boyd & Wurthmann), and respect that businesses close on Sundays.
Summer thunderstorms come fast off Lake Erie. Lake-effect snow buries the northern counties in winter. Spring and fall are forgiving.
