RV stays in Michigan
Two peninsulas, four Great Lakes, and more freshwater coastline than any state in the country.

Michigan is shaped by water. The Lower Peninsula has sand dunes, cherry orchards, and the Sleeping Bear coast. The Upper Peninsula is a different country — Pictured Rocks, the Porcupine Mountains, and a road grid that thins out fast.
CurbNTurf hosts cluster on the Leelanau Peninsula around Traverse City, with a handful in the UP and along the western Lake Michigan shore. Plan ferry slots well ahead if you're hauling to Mackinac Island country.

Roads, food, and seasons in Michigan
Drive M-22 around the Leelanau Peninsula — 116 miles of wineries, cherry stands, and lake views. Pair it with the Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive inside Sleeping Bear for a full day.
The UP is bigger than people expect. Don't try to do Pictured Rocks and the Porcupine Mountains in one weekend; pick one. Munising for Pictured Rocks, Ontonagon for the Porkies.
July and August are the season. Lake Superior beaches stay cold even in summer — pack a hoodie. Black flies and mosquitoes peak in June; September is underrated.
