RV stays in Minnesota
Boreal lakes, the North Shore, and one of the great paddle-country traditions in North America.

Minnesota's personality is the North Shore and the Boundary Waters. Duluth to Grand Portage along Lake Superior is one of the great drives. The BWCAW inland is a million-acre wilderness of paddle routes and portages.
CurbNTurf hosts cluster around the Twin Cities and the North Shore. Summer is short and intense. Mosquitoes are no joke in June. Winter is for ice fishing and people who own real parkas.

Roads, food, and seasons in Minnesota
Drive MN-61 from Duluth to Grand Portage. Five hours straight, but plan a day or two — stop at Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock Lighthouse, Tettegouche, and Cascade River.
The BWCA permit lottery opens in January for the next paddle season. If you're going outfitter-supported, Sawbill or Tuscarora can handle the permit and gear; bring a head net regardless.
September is the unsung best month — cooler, fewer bugs, and aspen color starts late in the month. October is short but stunning.
