RV stays in Georgia
Live-oak coast, north Georgia mountains, and small-town squares that still mean something.
Search GeorgiaA traveler's overview
Georgia covers more ground than people give it credit for. The Blue Ridge tail-end is in the north, peach and pecan country runs through the middle, and the Atlantic coast hides barrier islands as wild as anywhere on the eastern seaboard.
CurbNTurf hosts here lean rural — peach orchards near Macon, mountain pads near Blue Ridge, coastal stops outside Savannah. Atlanta is fine to drive through, less fine to park around; treat it as a midpoint, not a destination.

Roads, food, and seasons in Georgia
Drive GA-348 (the Richard Russell Scenic Highway) through the Chattahoochee National Forest. It's short — 14 miles — but it's the prettiest road in the state outside fall weekends.
Eat your way through Savannah and the Sea Islands. Shrimp and grits at The Grey, oysters from McIntosh County, anything at Husk in nearby Charleston if you cross the line.
Spring (April) and fall (October–November) are the comfortable seasons. Summers are real-deal Southern humid; winters are mild but rainy. Cumberland Island ferry sells out months in advance for spring weekends.
